Hi, my name is Lee and I am in my late 40’s. I worked for nearly 14 years in pharmaceutical manufacturing before deciding to follow my passion of working with computers. I quit my job, took some full time courses and became an accredited network engineer. After embracing my inner geek, loving all things pc oriented, I decided that working for ‘the man’ was not for me and I set up on my own. After a few miserable failures, finding areas in which I not only was not interested but loathed, I returned to the I.T. scene and created this site.
I am an avid traveller and have spent over 8 years living overseas as well as visiting many other countries. I am not as well travelled as some but more than most with 17 countries to date under my belt. This site allows me to combine 2 of my passions working on this site and travelling, well 3 if you count my taking cooking classes in each country I plan to visit next.
I work with a number of affiliates on this site (digitalnomad.site) including Amazon and some of the items, when clicked will take you to the affiliates site. Should you decide to make a purchase on this basis I will receive a small commission which helps keep this site free for you to enjoy. Please note the price you pay is not affected as a result of this affiliation and will never increase for any item, in fact in a few cases the item may be cheaper.
Placing disclaimers all over the site is both distracting and can be time consuming and tedious for the reader so please assume every link out of this site may be an affiliate link as mentioned above.
Please note I would never recommend a product or service I didn’t believe in.
